We live on a street where we know and hangout with most all of our neighbors, and every 6 months or so we plan a street crawl to each other's house. Each time we all vote on a fun theme for the crawl.
This time around was a US state themed crawl, with an app, drink, and decor tailored to each house's state selection. We chose Vermont, which led to fall everything, in the middle of summer. These are the must haves for an awesome Vermont or New England fall themed party:
Decorations - Maple Leaf/Fall - We really wanted to do a makeshift photo booth, so I hung these maple leaf garland strings as a backdrop and used these props to add to the fun!

Food - Breakfast Skewers
Breakfast Skewer Supplies for 10 people:
• 1 box mini waffles
• 1 box mini pancakes
• 1lb. bacon
• 1lb. frozen sausage
Skewer Prep Instructions:
Cook bacon in the oven or stovetop as directed, set aside.
Cook sausage in the oven or stovetop as directed, set aside.
Toast Waffles in microwave or oven, as directed on each box. Set aside.
Let all food cool for 5-10minutes prior to adding to skewers. Add each food item on the skewer as desired.
Once skewers are complete, cover with foil and warm in the oven at 250 degrees until ready to serve. Once warming is complete, drizzle skewers with maple syrup to serve.
Drink Tastings - Maple Liquor and Hard Cider
For our featured drinks, we decided to set out small tasting cups of Citizens Cider (local Vermont company) and some maple whiskey. We bought small tasting cups to pour the tastings and then placed the can of Cider in front of each for identification.
